Panamá en Tehuantepec. Colonización ferroviaria del sureste de México
Después de Panamá, el istmo más interesante para la construcción de un canal es el del sureste de México, en Tehuantepec, ahí donde la tierra da vuelta. Ubicado dentro del territorio norteamenricano, dentro del pretendido homeland que extiende hipotéticamente sus fronteras hasta colindar con Guatemala y Belice, el istmo de Tehuantepec, con 200 km de longitud, se ofrece como vía de comunicación ideal entre los dos grandes océanos, al abrigo y cuidado de los poderes del norte que, como en Panamá o más aún, se preocuparán por mantener la seguridad de ese valioso eslabón del mercado mundial.
