El 9 de junio de 2021 nos reunimos académicos, investigadores y conocedores tradicionales para intercambiar saberes en torno a la situación de la región comprendida por el proyecto Tren Maya, evaluar los previsibles impactos que tendrá en los modos de vida, que incluyen a todas las formas de vida en su interconexión, y en la salud ecosistémica.
Este grupo se ha constituido como Grupo de Reflexión Permanente sobre los Megaproyectos del Sureste.
