Trump blocks US investment in firms linked to Chinese military
United States President Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning US investments in Chinese firms Washington claims are owned or controlled by the Chinese military, ramping up pressure on Beijing after the US election.

Germany charges 12 in far-right ‘terror’ plot
German federal prosecutors have charged 12 alleged far-right conspirators suspected of planning “terrorist attacks” on politicians, asylum seekers and Muslims, security service sources told AFP news agency on Thursday.
Eleven of the men, arrested in countrywide raids in February, stand accused of the membership of a “terrorist organisation” and weapons law violations. The 12th alleged conspirator has been charged with supporting a “terrorist group”.

Bah Ag Moussa a déserté l’armée malienne en 2012 pour rejoindre la rébellion et fonder avec Iyad Ag Ghali le groupe djihadiste Ansar Eddine, devenu le GSIM à la faveur d’une fusion avec Al-Qaida au Maghreb islamique (AQMI) et d’autres groupes islamistes. « Il faisait partie du premier cercle d’Iyad Ag Ghali », a souligné l’état-major. Responsable de plusieurs attaques meurtrières contre les forces armées maliennes depuis 2016, Bah Ag Moussa était depuis 2017 le commandant des opérations du GSIM. En 2019, le comité des sanctions de l’Organisation des Nations unies (ONU) l’avait placé dans la liste des criminels liés à Al-Qaida. En mars 2019, ses hommes avaient lancé une attaque d’envergure contre la caserne de Dioura, tuant plus de vingt soldats maliens.
