China has deployed large numbers of troops and weapons along a disputed Himalayan border in violation of bilateral agreements, India's foreign ministry has said, accusing Beijing of escalating tensions and triggering a deadly clash last week.
"At the heart of the matter is that since early May, the Chinese side had been amassing a large contingent of troops and armaments along the LAC," foreign ministry spokesman Anurag Srivastava said in a briefing in New Delhi on Thursday, referring to the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the de facto border between the Asian nuclear powers.
Iraqi forces raid Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah base, 14 arrested
Iraqi security forces have raided a base belonging to a powerful Iran-backed armed group in southern Baghdad and detained at least 14 members of the group, government and security sources have told Al Jazeera.
The raid late on Thursday was the most brazen action by Iraqi forces against a major Iran-backed group in years and targeted the Kataib Hezbollah faction, which United States officials have accused of firing rockets at bases hosting US troops and other facilities in Iraq.

The Libyan Parliament affiliated with eastern commander Khalifa Hifter welcomed Sisi's remarks. According to a statement released by the House of Representatives on June 21, speaker of the eastern-based parliament Aguila Saleh had called on Cairo in January “to assist the Libyan armed forces in their war against terrorism and to thwart the foreign invasion.”

Iraqi security forces raided a headquarters belonging to a powerful Iran-backed militia south of Baghdad late on Thursday, seized rockets and detained three commanders of the group at the site, two Iraqi government officials said.
The officials said the militia group targeted was the Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah, which US officials have accused of firing rockets at bases hosting US troops and other facilities in Iraq, Reuters reported.

Japan confirmed on Thursday that it has effectively scrapped the deployment of the multibillion-dollar US Aegis Ashore anti-missile system, citing security concerns of local residents and the costly and time-consuming hardware upgrades as reasons for its decision.
The Nikkei Asian Review reported on June 25 that Japan will explore the development of its own pre-emptive--strike capabilities against foreign rocket launchers as a less-costly alternative to the Aegis Ashore missile shield, which actually tests international opinion.
If Japan deploys similar systems on islands adjacent to China or close to China's sovereign waters, it will definitely impact China-Japan relations.

Strategic Visions of the EU and USA: Grave Misunderstanding of China
In March 2019, European Union (EU) presented its strategic outlook for dealing with China. The outlook has three specific objectives, 1) deepen engagement, 2) more balanced and reciprocal conditions for economic cooperation and 3) adopt to the changing realities and strengthen its base. The objectives reinforce the desire of EU to further strengthen its relationship with China. However, EU also declared China as a "strategic rival" and a "strategic competitor", which is appalling. Strategic rival means EU consider China as a threat to their ideology. It is difficult to understand, what EU desires
USA also has released, its strategic approach, on May 20th, 2020 (1) protect the American people, homeland, and way of life; (2) promote American prosperity (3) preserve peace through strength; and (4) advance American influence", which are taken from US National Security Strategy, 2017.
USA has launched a multifaceted strategy to achieve these objectives. It has introduced different policies and tools, like the Pivot of Asia, Group of Four, Indo-Pacific and many others. It is pursuing its allies to confront or abandon China.
However, the biggest victim of USA campaign is the technology sector.
The cold war mentality will lead to conflicts, as we have already witnessed. However, the cost of cold war and hot conflicts would be much more this time because the world today, is more integrated and holds more sophisticated weapons of mass destruction.
First of all, China is the only economy after USA which, have double digit trillion-dollar economy with a humongous market size. China has reached the development status from where; it can drive its economic growth by improving domestic consumption for decades. It has been predicted that 300 million people will graduate to middle class till 2030
Second, China has adopted the strategy of "pre-emptive economic strike" in other words; the policy of shared prosperity. China is not only talking but taking practical steps. President Xi has launched the biggest program of human history in the form of Belt & Road Initiative (BRI)
The world needs to understand that China learns from the thoughts and teaching of four distinctive elders. China extracts lessons from the strategy of Sun Zu (tactics), wisdom of Confucius (harmony) and believe of Tao (inner strength). It also learns from the practices of Yellow Emperor, who always focused on the welfare of people.

Espionaje ilegal: los diálogos que comprometen a Mauricio Macri
El diálogo consta en la causa judicial que instruye el juez Federico Villena y los que hablan son Susana Martinengo , coordinadora de Documentación Presidencial durante el gobierno de Mauricio Macri, y Jorge El Turco Sáez, cabeza del grupo de espías ilegales autodenominado Super Mario Bros. El intercambio fue el lunes 18 de diciembre de 2017 y Martinengo le pidió un informe ilegal a Sáez sobre los preparativos de la manifestación del día siguiente contra la reforma jubilatoria y le reiteró que le entregaba esos informes clandestinos a Darío Nieto , secretario privado de Macri, cuyos domicilios fueron allanados este jueves. En la conversación, Sáez le habló de que se preparaban columnas de Moreno, Morón y Avellaneda, con micros de una empresa La Perlita y participaba el Movimiento Evita. Martinengo y Sáez hasta especularon que iban a "tirarle muertos" al gobierno, coincidieron en que la medida era mala y especularon que Macri debía postergar la reforma jubilatoria para abril o mediados de 2018. El diálogo refleja en forma nítida el circuito: Sáez le entregaba informes ilegales a Martinengo, ella a Darío Nieto y el secretario a Mauricio Macri en persona.

La OMS advirtió que los casos de coronavirus están creciendo en Europa

El cultivo de hoja de coca, así como la producción y las incautaciones mundiales de cocaína se encuentran en máximos históricos, según los datos presentados este jueves en Viena en el último Informe Mundial sobre Drogas de la ONU.

Admiten error en la manifestación de impacto ambiental del Tren Maya
La mención de que el “etnocidio puede tener un giro positivo, el etnodesarrollo”, en la manifestación de impacto ambiental (MIA) del Tren Maya, fue un error de redacción, se aclaró en la cuenta de Twitter del proyecto.
Se puede leer: “sobre la circulación de un extracto fuera de contexto de la MIA del Tren Maya, reconocemos que es una oración desafortunada y aclaramos que es un error de redacción. La frase debe decir ‘el etnocidio tiene un opuesto positivo, el etnodesarrollo’”.
En la página mil 379 del documento de la MIA se hace referencia a que el etnocidio (destrucción de un grupo étnico) puede ser económico o cultural. Y más adelante se menciona que “puede tener un giro positivo, el etnodesarrollo, éste puede ser posible si se involucra en el proceso de desarrollo y en la administración de beneficios a las poblaciones indígenas que estarían siendo afectadas por el desarrollo.” También menciona el estado de Mérida, en lugar de referirse al estado de Yucatán, y tiene múltiples errores de ortografía.

Moscú. Venezuela forma parte de los Estados que constituyen el núcleo de resistencia a los intentos de devolver la región (de América Latina) al siglo XIX, de imponerle de nuevo la Doctrina Monroe. Expresamos nuestra invariable solidaridad con su resolución de hacer frente al dictado foráneo, a los burdos intentos de entrometerse en los asuntos internos de un Estado soberano como es el suyo, de provocar por la fuerza un cambio de régimen.
